Nothing too startling today. I thought I would try my hand at a new pen and came up with this one, which is a recent British design.
It's called the Aquilo and I've made it in spalted tamarind with gold fittings. I have given it several coats of melamine to make it resistant to finger marks and moisture, then finished it with a wax specially formulated for pens. It's available now in my Numonday shop at https://numonday.com/shop/timberspinner. It is supplied in a black velveteen slip case.
